Slayr type beats have become a popular instrumental style within the rage and underground trap music scene, characterized by fast tempos, aggressive synths, and high energy. To make a Slayr type beat, you need to understand its core elements such as BPM, key, sound selection, and licensing rules that differentiate free and paid usage.

Understanding the Slayr Type Beat Style

Slayr type beats are typically energetic trap instrumentals that often range around 150 BPM or higher, designed to complement fast-paced rapping or screaming vocals common in rage music. The key of A#m, as used in the beat "LIPSTICK" by 8dan.prod1, is frequent for creating a dark yet vibrant mood.

These beats feature distorted synth leads, glitchy sound effects, and punchy 808 basslines. The aggressive tone aligns with artists like Slayr, Waera, and Prettifun, who are known for their raw and experimental trap sounds. Familiarity with these artists helps in crafting a beat that fits the rage subgenre.

Step-by-Step Guide to Making a Slayr Type Beat

1. Set BPM and Key: Start with a BPM around 153 and key A#m to match popular Slayr beats.
2. Choose Synth Sounds: Use aggressive, distorted synths and glitch effects to create an intense atmosphere.
3. Create Drum Patterns: Incorporate fast hi-hats, punchy kicks, and snappy snares to drive rhythm.
4. Add 808 Bass: Use deep, distorted 808 basslines that hit hard and complement the synths.
5. Arrange the Beat: Structure your beat with energetic build-ups and drops, maintaining momentum.
6. Mix and Master: Ensure clarity between elements while preserving the raw edge typical of rage beats.
